TIFF '09 on a Budget: Free Events at Dundas Square...

Photo: BlogTO

If you're like me and have shallow pockets, or just happen to be in the Yonge-Dundas area, TIFF is hosting free screenings every day of the festival. There's something for everyone, so it's worth checking out. For music lovers, there are screenings of Live In Concert films--showcasing bands like U2 (Sept 17) and an appearance by Neil Young following a screening of 'The Neil Young Trunk Show' (Sept 14). For horror film buffs, take part in the Toronto Zombie Walk with director George A. Romero; and end the night with a screening of his 'Night of the Living Dead'.
